I live in a conservation area and my house is bordered by agricultural land, part of that land (close to my house) has been being used as a garden for 10 years+ and when the field was sold the new owner of the land applied for the land to be changed to ‘use as domestic garden area’.
My concern is that changing this area of the field to that status means they have ‘sway’ to build a house on the land in the near future. Is this a way of increasing the possibility of planning permission being granted on agricultural land? By changing its use?
