I am currently looking at buying a property. Problem seems to be is planning has been refused. It is a derelict cottage built and used as a cottage. It has however been used as a store for the last 50 years.
Planning are saying change of use iis required to change from store to dwelling? It’s being refused on grounds of access. Whilst acces is an issue surely change of use is not required?
If it was built and used as a cottage just because it was used as a store latterly surely doesn’t mean that it requires change of use planning? Im figuring No ne would have applied for planning to a store? Can anyone advise?
